Fővárosi Ukrán Nemzetiségi Önkormányzat is the Ukrainian nationality self-government of the capital, based at Akadémia utca 1–3, District V. It coordinates the district Ukrainian self-governments, organises Christmas, Mother’s Day and Ivana Kupala celebrations, and supports the Ukrainian church and scouts. Ukrinform reports it announced the 2026 Borscht Festival.
